Passengers won’t have to look far for healthy and unique cuisine the next time they fly from John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport. Today will mark the opening of locally owned and operated, The Green Smoothie Bar (GSB) at Hamilton International.

The Green Smoothie Bar is located post-security in the Airport’s Departure Lounge, offering passengers an extensive selection of organic, vegan foods that are geared toward optimal health and wellness.

For GSB, smoothies are the perfect way to pack a cup with a multitude of powerful foods and nutrients in a delicious way. In addition to smoothies, The Green Smoothie Bar’s growing menu includes chef-prepared food items such as energy bars, collard wraps and kale chips.

“We’re excited to welcome The Green Smoothie Bar to Hamilton International; this partnership will add value for our passengers by providing another food and beverage option that is complementary to the offerings already available,” said Lauren Yaksich, Manager, Marketing and Communications, John C. The Green Smoothie Bar is open post-security from April-October, excluding 7 AM departures. More information will be released on hours of operation during the 2013/2014 Winter Season as it becomes available.
