Travellers can take advantage of direct flights and easy connections to/from Hamilton International this winter

Hamilton, ON (August 20, 2024) – Turn your winter blues into lasting memories with a variety of getaway options available from John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (Hamilton International) this upcoming season. The Airport is thrilled to unveil its 2024/25 Winter Program, which officially starts in November, featuring flights to popular sunny destinations in Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Mexico, affordable transatlantic connections into Europe with direct flights between Hamilton and Iceland, along with continued access into Western Canada with direct flights to Calgary. Additionally, travellers can access Air Canada’s global network of destinations with luxury motorcoach service between Hamilton International and Toronto Pearson, operated in partnership with The Landline Company.

2024/25 Winter Program Highlights:

  • Sunwing returns to Hamilton International with seasonal service to Cayo Coco, Varadero, Punta Cana and Cancun.
  • Low-cost direct flights between Hamilton and Iceland continue with PLAY, providing seamless connections to nearly 40 destinations across Europe including Amsterdam, Dublin, Copenhagen, London and Paris. Travellers who wish to visit Iceland before continuing their trip across the Atlantic can also take advantage of the option to prolong their layover into a multi-day stopover at no additional cost.
  • WestJet continues to provide non-stop service to Calgary, with connectivity onward to Western Canada.
  • Air Canada and The Landline Company continue to operate 6x daily luxury motorcoach service between Hamilton International and Toronto Pearson, enabling travellers access to connect into the airline’s global network of destinations, be that across Canada or around the world, while starting and/or ending their journey in Hamilton.

Travellers are encouraged to arrive at the Airport at least two (2) hours prior to domestic departures and three (3) hours prior to international departures to allow ample time for parking, check-in and security screening. Travellers can also secure their Airport parking spot in advance and save on drive-up rates through Hamilton International’s online reservation system. Parking reservations are available for booking now at parking.flyhamilton.ca.
